Priscilla Ann Freitas - Born : 4.07.1963 - Died : 4.13.1964

Priscilla lived a very short life. She was a very happy baby
Always a smile and a laugh. She lived on Lawrence Street
in Lowell,Massachusetts

She had gotten sick with a 24 hour flu that was prevailant
in the area at the time. We were up all night with her and
brought her to the hospital but she passed away very fast.

I had delivered her at the hospital, as the doctor arrived
very late and her mother Phyllis was ready  to deliver right
away. Priscilla was born  in an un-sterile field
in the corridor  of the admitance area of the Lowell General Hospital. There were nurses assisting me, as they were not able to
deliver a  baby unless it was a life or death situation. They
instructed me all the way, assisted me in the delivery
and I done all the rest. They were  very good instructions,
and Priscilla was born. I attended to my wife, put  her and
Priscilla to bed in the same  room, and left the hospital for
home. The next day all the staff and people were talking
about us and about my having delivered my own baby.
A year and 4 days later she died in my arms.
But she lives in my heart  forever.
She rests in peace at St. Patricks Cemetary
in Lowell,Massachusetts.

Priscilla was a very happy baby.
She had a wonderful smile and a
very happy infectous way about her.
She developed a 24 hour flu that was
going around, she caught it in the late
evening and therefor had no visible
signs of being sick, she passed on
                                     very fast.
We will miss her very much.
                                     It's very hard losing a child ,
even harder living your life after that.
